Over the 25 year history of the Young Executive Series, only 136 participants have graduated from this challenging and prestigious executive training program. Jeff Uhlenburg and Tom Morrison Become New President and CEO
At the October MTI Fall Meeting in conjunction with Furnaces North America , 2008 President, Gary Huss passed the gavel to newly elected President, Jeff Uhlenburg of Donovan Heat Treating from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jeff is a 5th generation heat treater who has a true passion for the success of the industry and the impact MTI has on member companies. Jeff's father, Don Uhlenburg, served as President of MTI in 1987.
Also during the MTI Fall event, MTI Executive Vice President, Tom Morrison assumed the CEO position as MTI longtime CEO, Lance Miller was honored for his retirement after 31 years. Tom has worked for MTI as Executive Vice President since October 2005 and has enjoyed a successful career in association management for over 15 years.
